About susy.qft.org

susy.qft.org is an educational resource about supersymmetric quantum field theory, geometry, and exact results. It is written for graduate readers with basic quantum field theory, gauge theory, and general relativity, beginning supersymmetry for the first time.

The curriculum connects rigid supersymmetry on curved three-manifolds, four-dimensional N=1 quantum dynamics, N=2 Seiberg–Witten theory, N=4 super Yang–Mills, and ABJM. The same small examples return as the tools develop. Superspace, conformal field theory, complex curves, localization, and large-N methods are introduced where needed.

The site is developed and written with OpenAI Codex under the project owner’s direction. Codex also performs computational checks, editing, and software maintenance. An independent AI check is still an AI check; it is not human peer review. The site does not claim institutional affiliation or endorsement by the authors of papers it discusses.

The primary literature remains essential. A lesson explains a calculation with stated conventions and assumptions; a paper may establish a broader result or use a different normalization. Readers should be able to follow the distinction through the references next to the relevant claims.

Reproducing an established result is an educational achievement. Changing one parameter is a useful test. Neither alone makes a new research result. Research assignments distinguish the reproduced starting point, the proposed variation, and what evidence would be needed to interpret an outcome.

Likewise, a numerical value has a precision and a regime of validity. A successful website build establishes that software produced pages, not that a physical argument is correct. The editorial standards explain how source checks, scientific calculations, and technical checks are kept separate.

Use Start Here for the opening sequence and a short prerequisite check. The learning guide describes independent routes through the subjects. A student-optional branch is a choice about preparation and interests, not a claim that its subject is less important.
